Is the Tide In or Out in your Network Marketing Business?

As the flow and ebb of the tide in the ocean, so is Network Marketing at times. Do you ever feel you are a part of this flow and ebb in your life, your online business, your offline business??? Do you find yourself on the low side of the tide ten beat yourself up for it? Well my friends, if this where you find yourself, fret no more as this is just one of the beauties of Network Marketing!

The flowing and ebbing factors are just a simple law of life that we must learn to accept and embrace. As we all know, life isn’t always smooth sailing on a beautiful yacht filled with nothing but pleasure. We are in a constant flow and ebb in many areas of life.

The thing that ceases to amaze me with a Network Marketing business is the fact that even if we find ourselves on the low tide and feel like we are being swept out to sea far away from all that is familiar, (negelcting to work our business, in other words!) that business is still going to be there once we wash back up with the tide! Its not a matter of having lost everything we have diligently worked for and having to start over from scratch. Having a solid foundation built early on in your network marketing career will ensure that all is well even if you do get washed out with the tide and need to drift at sea for awhile.

In the last month, I have been washed out with the tide and drifted for awhile as I made it a priority to “be there” for a family crisis. Did I reach all my goals for that month? No! Did my business suffer while I was drifting? Well, maybe in a sense it did but on the other hand it was just resting on the low side of the tide. Was I disappointed to not achieve the goals that were running for our community and forums while I was drifting? Well I wouldn’t be normal if I wasn’t somewhat disappointed but the neat thing is, I knew it would all be here waiting for me and it was totally my choice to either pick up and run again or walk away from it!

Resting and Refreshing Your Mind and Body in Spite of Circumstances

Maybe in your mind you wouldn’t think there is any rest and relaxation in a family crisis situation and in essence, its obviously not like the R&R you would get on the white beaches while listening to the powerful waves of the oceans, but in this case, I believe it was a great time for me to refresh my mind by completely unplugging from my online and offline business. Focusing so completely on some different project other than my own goals and ambitions was a way to start my mind flowing back to the top end of the tide.

Another beauty of being involved in networking groups and network marketing business, as we face the crisis of life there is so much power in the support of these groups when the trials come thick and heavy. If you are just thinking of joining the network marketing industry and joining online groups, then do it if for no other reason then the support and concern and care that comes from being a part of those “families!” They carry you while you are flowing out with the tide and drifting at sea, that is part of why you have the assurance that your business will still be there on the high side of the tide when you come back. Its just amazing how your business will even grow while you take off, Network Marketing and online marketing just simply rock when it comes to serving you well in spite of circumstances.

So in summary, Network Marketing is the most amazing, affordable and supportive business to be in when it comes to facing crisis. We always need to put family first regardless of the goals and ambitions involved in our business. We only get one “shot” at our families then they are grown and gone. But Network Marketing will still be there as we ride the flow and ebb of the tide in this ocean called LIFE!
